Relationships are a gift that show me who I am

It is obvious that we have invisible and unbreakable connections to our parents and past generations; even though we are often unaware of them, they affect our lives deeply and that of the next generation. Inherited memories from our parents survive in our unconscious minds particularly if they themselves did not get a chance to deal with or make sense of difficult events in their lives.

The result is that circumstances and situations are repeated, becoming family patterns and indeed cultural patterns. These impact powerfully on our relationships in the present and may contribute to making or breaking our most precious and intimate relationships.
In this course you will have the opportunity to see Menis working with couples, exploring how to embrace conflict and find ways to communicate with compassion and understanding.

Most of the exercises on this course are completely new. They will function to highlight the profound effect our parents have on our relationships and the ways we make decisions. These will give you valuable insights on how to deal with the most important relationships in your life in the future.

First Essence Course in Romania: Can you support it?

On Friday 27th to 29th August we will hold the very first Essence seminar in Romania. A group of Hungarians will be travelling to support this project. The seminar will take place in (location tba). In this part of Romania they speak Hungarian and so the seminar will be presented in English and Hungarian.

This is a service project to give the Romanian people the opportunity to experience the work of Essence. If you wish to support this project, you can do so either by assisting, participating or making a contribution. If you have any friends in Romania please introduce them to the Essence Foundation and make them aware of this opportunity.

We are excited to also announce the first Essence Course in Ukraine on 17th - 19th September.

The next Essence Connections evening is on Wednesday 15th September at 5 Birchwood Avenue, Muswell Hill, London N10 3BE. We will start at 6.30pm.

Food and refreshments will be provided. Cost £10.

Everyone is welcome to come to these Essence Connections evenings, regardless of whether or not you have participated in an Essence course. They act as a useful reminder of the work of Essence whilst also helping to re-connect people. If you are new to Essence and want to find out more, this is a great opportunity to speak to the facilitator, to people who have done the course and to get a little taster of the Foundation course.

After some light refreshments and food, Dr Menis Yousry will share with a group of 20-25 people, drawing upon people's experiences and challenges, sharing his insight and answering questions. There will be a chance to ask about any aspect of the course or personal issues.

This is an opportunity to give and receive support from the group. You can come to as many meetings as you want. Places are limited so please call to confirm your place. Sharing will start around 7pm so please arrive early if you can, giving yourself enough time to enjoy the food and drink.
